WORKSHOPS AND GUEST LECTURES
The Instrumentation and Control department apart from teaching the curriculum as prescribed by Anna University, is also conducting various Guest lectures and Workshops for the benefit of students. Eminent personalities from various Academic Institutions and Industries are invited for presenting current emerging topics related to the field of Instrumentation and Control Engg.
NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM
Every year our department organizes National level technical symposium to not only explore the technical knowledge of the student community but also in cultivating the organizing capabilities and teamwork for our students.
COCURRICULAR ACTIVITES:
Our students have taken part in various seminars and presented papers in intercollegiate technical symposia and won many prizes like SARANG conducted by IIT-M, KURUKSHETHRA conducted by Anna University etc.
INDUSTRIAL VISITS, IN-PLANT TRAINING, SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS:
Our department regularly arranges industrial visit for the students, which enable them to have an exposure to the industrial environment. So far we have taken our students to various leading industries like MRL, MFL, Mettur thermal power station, Salem plant , kalpakkam IGCAR and NLC.
Our students are encouraged to undergo in-plant training in various reputed industries during their winter/summer vacations. |
